Grounds set for Pure City International School 2021 SRC elections

Pure City International School has today concluded preparation for the SRC election for the 2021/2022 academic year. Thursday, November 11, 2021, witnessed the Boys’ and Girls’ Prefects candidates pick numbers representing their positions on the ballot paper. This was done under the watchful supervision of the administration, in final preparation for the election.

Ballot papers were released today and announced in a general assembly of students on the assembly grounds by the school’s principal Mr Kingsford Akandieba. To make it clear for the voter, the ballots, he announced, contain features such as the pictures of contesting candidates, candidate’s ballot position number for both Boys’ and Girls’ Prefects and then a space for thumbprinting.

The election is scheduled to take place on November 11, 2021 at the school campus at exactly 12:30pm prompt. 

According to the headmaster, Mr. Akandieba, the order of voting will be as follows:

 ORDER OF VOTING

1.School Cadet.

2.Candidates.

3.Outgoing Prefects.

3. Lower Primary.

4. Upper Primary.

5. Junior High School.

Mr Akandieba encouraged facilitators to apply utmost discipline and ensure that every participant follows the Covid-19 protocols as well as Election protocols and procedures to the later.

“Best of luck to all the candidates,” Mr Akandeiba concluded.
